Como os hemos comentado en otras muchas ocasiones, la homologación más solicitada por todos nuestros clientes es la homologación de suspension.
En unas ocasiones son muelles, en otros muelles y amortiguadores y en otros una suspensión roscada. Este es el caso de la homologación de suspensión que os presentamos en este post.
SUSPENSIÓN ROSCADA
Una suspensión roscada ofrece un rendimiento muy superior al que puede ofrecer una simple sustitución de muelles, ya que muelle y amortiguador trabaja como un único elemento, ofreciendo un ajuste perfecto tanto en compresión como en extensión.
Cuando se instalan únicamente muelles, se obtiene fácilmente una reducción de altura, pero sometemos a un sobreesfuerzo a los amortiguadores que no trabajarán de manera adecuada, acortando, por tanto su vida útil, ya que la altura de trabajo no será la ideal.
En el caso de una suspensión roscada, independientemente de la altura que fijemos con la rosca, se consigue un ajuste adecuado, obteniendo un rendimiento óptimo para la suspensión, que trabaja como un conjunto.
En una homologación de suspensión siempre hay que fijar una altura determinada (que debe ser superior a un valor mínimo). Cuando la homologación es de una suspensión roscada, este valor también ha de fijarse para legalizar su uso en calle.
Sin embargo, una suspensión roscada permite ajustar la regulación para uso en circuito, buscando el setup adecuado para óptimo rendimiento en circuito. No obstante, la configuración de calle deberá reestablecerse cuando se salga del circuito, lo cual no es complicado en este tipo de suspensiones.
HOMOLOGACIÓN DE SUSPENSIÓN ROSCADA
La homologación de suspensión roscada es similar a la homologación de muelles. Los datos que necesitamos son los mismos (fotografias del coche, de la documentación, de la suspensión y altura de luces y matricula trasera).
También necesitamos saber las caracteristicas de la suspensión que se ha instalado. Generalmente, una suspensión roscada dispone de documentación TÜV, que nos ayuda a conocer las características del sistema, pero en caso de no disponer de ella, con las referencias de las piezas podremos localizar en nuestra base de datos las dimensiones necesarias.
